COPY DEADLINES
The deadline for all advertisements and editorial features is the 14th of the month (with the exception of the Jan/Feb Issue which is the 8th) preceding publication. All artwork or changes to advertisements must be received by that date. Any artwork or changes to advertisements received after the copy date will not be accepted for the relevant publication and will only be implemented in the following issue.
All adverts and editorial will be proofed prior to publication. It is your responsibility to ensure that any copy proofed and signed off is accurate, legal and copyright free.
PAYMENTS
There is no VAT to pay. All adverts are payable upfront by BACS, cheque or credit/debit card. An Invoice will be emailed to you when you book an advert. Once payment has been received, you will be emailed a proof which will require approval by return. If we don’t receive your authorisation or changes within 24 hours, we will assume your proof approval and go to press with the advertisement as shown on the proof. Village Link take no responsibility for loss or damage resulting in an advert being incorrect.
CANCELLATIONS
Advertising space must be cancelled by the 5th of the month preceding publication.
Late cancellation or where more than one issue is booked but cancelled before the end of the agreed advertising period, Village Link retains the right to invoice the advertiser for the amount of discount given on the condition that the advertisement would run for the specified period.
ARTWORK & DESIGN
Copyright of adverts created in-house, will remain the property of Village Link Magazine. Should you wish to reproduce the advertisement in any other publication, permission and a release fee of £25 will be required.
COMPETITIONS
Only one entry is permitted per person per competition. All prizes must be accepted as offered. There can be no alternative awards, cash or otherwise. In the event that a prize is not available for whatever reason, Village Link reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value. No responsibility can be accepted for entries lost, delayed or damaged. No correspondence can be entered into and no entry can be returned. The decision of the Editor is final. If space allows and it is relevant to the compeition, the results of competitions will be published in the Village Link Magazine and the internet. Where competitions are designed for children, we may reject entries from persons over the age of 16. Entries received from persons under the age of 16 will be deemed to have received parental or guardian permission. Village Link will make reasonable efforts to notify prize winners by email and telephone prior to publication. Village Link is not bound to publish the names of winners that are not contactable int he expectation that winners may themselves make contact. In the event that the prize has not been awarded within six calendar weeks of the closing/draw date, the prize will be withdrawn. At the sole discretion of the Editor, a new winner may be selected.
