Drinks: A Cocktail Collection

Cocktail drinks have been around for many, many decades...

…These alcoholic (and non-alcoholic) drinks can be mixed, using spirits, plus other ingredients and carry on, to gain in popularity, as time progresses. Certainly, cocktail concoctions are hugely popular indeed, with countless lovers of this type of beverage. Regular choices include Mojito, Negroni and Pina Colada, plus Cosmopolitan, Old Fashioned, Spritz and several others. Premium quality cocktails are now available in bottles, ready to be served.

JOHNNIE WALKER OLD FASHIONED COCKTAIL (20.5% vol) is a very firm favourite amongst numerous devotees of cocktails. This delectation is sweet and nicely warming. Utilising the well-renowned Johnnie Walker Blended Scotch Whisky, which is expertly mixed with orange notes, plus bitter flavourings, this (to me) is perfect, when garnished with a slice of fresh orange (my choice) and lovingly poured over ice.

TANQUERAY NEGRONI COCKTAIL (17.5% vol), I found to be most tastefully sweet and also bitter. Absolutely, Tanqueray is a classic London Dry Gin. This is mixed with herbal and fruity vermouth flavourings, plus a hint of tangy bitter, to create a highly popular cocktail mix. Great to pour over ice and then garnish with a slice of fresh orange (my choice).

CIROC COSMOPOLITAN COCKTAIL (17.5% vol), if I may suggest, could satisfy the vodka enthusiasts, totally. This elegant cocktail is mixed with bittersweet cranberry juice and then very well ‘balanced’ with orange and lime flavours  Very much appreciated and loved amongst connoisseurs of this type of beverage, I found it ideal when served in a martini-style glass, with a twist of lemon to garnish, if you wish.

I located these expertly-blended, premium pre-mixed, ready to serve bottled cocktails at Waitrose, in their attractively labelled ‘Cocktail Collection’ range. Waitrose stores always have most excellent in-store advice, I have found on many occasions. Their shelves, of all types of beverages, are a ‘treat to behold’ and will take some time (and enjoyment) to ‘explore’. Take time and a lot of pleasure to locate your favourite choices of drinks. The excellent website has all details and information and is most worthy of viewing. Ordering online is easy too.

As always,

Enjoy!
