Now that the season of spring and summer is upon us, most of us can’t wait to get out in the sunshine, start up the BBQ, have some evening cocktails in the garden., top up on that Vitamin D!

Whenever I have been asked where my interest in gardens came from, I recall a holiday from my childhood. Whilst many gardeners I have met can trace their careers back to their father or mother being keen gardeners I cannot.
